About Healthy Living Projects
Our Background
Healthy Living Projects is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee. It was set up in 2000 by the Ilford High Road Baptist Church in response to need in the local community.
Our Aims
Through the services we provide, we aim to improve education, overcome social isolation and improve the health and well being of all those that engage with our projects. We are particularly focussed on meeting the needs of the Homeless & Socially Isolated and the Elderly.

We are committed to serving people in our community and meeting real needs in practical ways.
Our Ethos
We are motivated by Christian faith and operate on Christian principles.
The charity’s objectives are for the benefit of the inhabitants of the London Borough of Redbridge and in particular those inhabitants who are refugees or asylum seekers or who are otherwise in condition of need by;
- Advancing education
- Relieving poverty (including through provision of advice on issues relating to, but not exclusively, immigration, housing, welfare benefit and employment; and
- Providing or assisting in the provision of facilities for recreation and leisure-time occupation in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the conditions of life of the said inhabitants.
Financial Information
Annual Returns are submitted to Companies House and the Charity Commission in line with our statutory obligations, and the Annual Accounts are examined independently by Stewardship and are available to view on-line at www.charitycommission.gov.uk ( enter Charity number 1087256 in the Charity Search box).
Healthy Living Projects was incorporated as a Company Limited by Guarantee in November 2000 (Company Registration No. 4108124) and registered with the Charity Commission in 2001 (Registered Charity No. 1087256).
